Responsibilities       
Assess nutritional status of inpatients and develop individualized care plans, consulting with physicians and support staff in interdisciplinary rounds and team meetings. Educate patients and family in nutritional therapy, individualizing instructions based on each patient's preferences, resources, and abilities. Inpatient dietitians are organized into three work teams consisting of 5-6 members each, covering Surgery, OB/GYN, or Medicine floors and intensive care units. Flexible hours, Monday through Friday, every 4th Saturday.
